Bridge prototype
Simulation prototype01 / NavMar · Tanker & bridge
Prototype · in developmentA tanker exterior and wheelhouse reconstructed from drawings and equipment photographs. Explore the bridge, follow the instruments and see the vessel respond through recorded manoeuvres.
Where it is headingA full-mission bridge simulator for training on a crew’s own ship.
Current demonstration: manoeuvre playback. Live bridge control and sea-trial calibration remain development work.
02 / NavMar · Sailing
Simulation prototypeA sailing-boat simulator in development around an Elan 333: boat handling, sailing performance and the final approach to a berth.
The Rovinj demonstration follows a scripted skipper through wind, prop walk and an estimated manoeuvring model.
Work-in-progress rendering and physics. Calibration against sailing logs and boat trials is still to come.

An editable exterior study refined against photographs and published dimensions. The cockpit, rig and fittings belong here, within the sailing simulator project.
Photo-guided geometry; unseen shapes and fitting positions are estimated. This is not a surveyed reconstruction.

Behind the projects
Ship drawings, operating procedures and calibration guide the work. These tools support the models, visualisation and research.
Geometry, materials and rendered views for the sailing and tanker models.
Used in the illustrated modelsWave and current data for WindMar’s routing tools, alongside other weather sources.
Environmental data sourceFrequency-domain hydrodynamic studies of floating vessels and their response to waves.
Research · integration pendingExploratory CFD cases for investigating flow around hulls.
Experimental · validation pendingThe tanker bridge demonstration uses recorded manoeuvres. Capytaine and OpenFOAM studies are separate from its current motion model.

The direction of the work
Building towards exercises grounded in a ship’s drawings, manuals and operating procedures.
